The UNIQLO 5th Avenue flagship store opened on Friday, October 14th! I am so happy and proud to have worked at such an exciting, superb, and rapidly expanding company. They are really going places -- taking over the U.S. one store at a time. They're aiming to open 300 stores within the next 10 years!
From sponsoring a "Made for All" roller skating rink at the High Line this summer, to delegating cool people like Tumblr's David Karp and the hip Grammy award-winning bassist Esperanza Spalding as models, to snagging Susan Sarandon as the opening's spokeswoman, it's easy to see that UNIQLO knows how to grab the public's attention.
I can't wait to check out the new store for myself! And that's not all, another store is opening on 34th street this Friday!
